The Cheer Up Mollys are a five/sometimes six-piece, all-female folk and acoustic band made up of long-time friends and musical collaborators from Sussex.
Known for their feel-good live shows and inventive arrangements, their rich vocal harmonies are accompanied by guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bass, and percussion. Their varied repertoire includes their own originals – some of which featured on their EP ‘Mollyfied’ – to Americana and 70s/80s pop covers performed in their own unique style. |
"They never fail to create a beautiful atmosphere wherever they perform. An infectious blend of wonderful melody, harmony, musicianship, humour and above all, great entertainment.” Jim Tipler - Bluebell Roots, Music in the Kitchen "The Mollys manage to be both warm and friendly whilst technically adept and super organise!. Their stage show is a delight, beautiful music and you'd do almost anything to be in their company." Phil Jones – Long Way Home Productions |
